Biography
Sukar is an experienced defender who returned to the club from Darlington in June 2024.A popular player amongst the Seasiders fanbase, Jassem became the sixth summer arrival at the Towbar Express Stadium.
The left-back, a Sunderland Academy graduate, made 63 appearances for his previous club Darlington, while he also featured a handful of times for Scarborough Athletic while on loan in the second half of the 2023/24 season.
He spent a number of years playing in Scotland for Dundee United, Peterhead, Brechin City and Arbroath, and he has also featured for York City.
His first spell with Town, between 2018 and 2022, saw him turn out over 100 times.
