Biography
Whitby Town jumped at the opportunity to bring Doherty to the Towbar Express Stadium in the summer of 2023 following his release from Middlesbrough.The versatile midfielder was with Boro from the under-9 age group and was a regular in the various youth sides until an unfortunate long-term injury all but ended his Riverside Stadium career.
Whilst on the Middlesbrough books, he joined both Hebburn Town and Marske United on loan during the 2022/23 season.
