Biography
The classy centre back has excelled in his time with Town since joining from Spennymoor Town towards the back end of the 2024/25 campaign.The Seasiders fought off competition from a host of sides at various levels of the Non-League pyramid to secure the signing of the defender, who penned a contract with the club until 2026.
McGinley graduated from the productive Middlesbrough Academy before - following a loan spell with Wycombe Wanderers - he joined Forest Green Rovers, where he played in League Two.
He has played in Scotland for Partick Thistle and Ayr United, and also stood out for Motherwell in the Scottish Premiership.
He enjoyed a fine first two months at the Towbar Express Stadium in 2024/25, establishing himself at the heart of Town's defence and helping Gary Liddle's side to Pitching In NPL survival with a 16th-place finish.
