Biography
Winger Thomas joined the Seasiders from Marske United in December 2023.Born in Ingleby Barwick, Thomas spent time on Newcastle United's books before joining Sunderland at the age of 17. He never made a first team appearance for the Black Cats but he did make his professional debut at Plymouth Argyle in 2013, before he went on to feature for Motherwell, Mansfield Town and Hartlepool United where he made 55 appearances.
A move to Sheffield United followed where he had spells on loan in the EFL with Shrewsbury Town, Notts County and Carlisle United.
Thomas returned north of the border in 2020, joining Hamilton Academical, before dropping into non-league football with York City in 2022.
