Biography
Gibson's experience of playing Championship football makes him a crucial part of Town's side following his summer 2024 arrival from Middlesbrough.The attacking midfielder began his career with Boro, whom he'd been with since the under-9 age group.
After making his senior bow in an FA Cup clash with Mansfield Town in January 2022, his first appearance in a Championship squad came at the Riverside Stadium in December 2021.
Gibson enjoyed a temporary spell with Darlington in the 2023/24 campaign ahead of penning a permanent deal with Whitby Town the following season.
