Biography
Experienced Northern Premier League striker Charles joined Town from Scarborough Athletic in June 2024.He began his career in his native West Yorkshire at Huddersfield Town, rising through the club's academy and enjoying a loan spell at Guiseley before making a solitary first team appearance for the Terriers.
After joining Barnsley in 2016, Charles dropped into non-league football, featuring for Stalybridge Celtic, Stafford Rangers, Farsley Celtic and then Scarborough, where he also had loan spells at FC United of Manchester and Ashton United.
Between 2012 and 2016, Charles also made a handful of youth appearances for Wales at under-17, under-19 and under-21 levels.
