The highly-rated young centre-back signed a two-year professional contract with the League Two side in October 2024 which will kick in upon the completion of his scholarship in summer this year.

Williams has trained regularly with the first team since summer 2024 and made his senior debut off the bench in the Bristol Street Motors Trophy win over Huddersfield Town. His full debut came in the same competition against Manchester United U21.
