The midfielder arrives at the Turnbull Ground having joined West Auckland in summer 2024 from Redcar Athletic.

Watts featured as a Trialist across several pre-season campaigns under Chris Hardy but never made a competitive appearance for the Seasiders.

However, now 23, Gary Liddle believes that Watts is ready for life playing in the Pitching In Northern Premier.

Following FA and league approval, Watts will be eligible for Wednesday night's North Riding Senior Cup tie against Great Ayton United, and also for this weekend's fixture at home to Lancaster City on Saturday. Tickets are available here.
