The walk started at The Victoria Hotel, Robin Hoods Bay with a whopping 24+ people and two dogs. This excellent attendance means that a good amount was raised in sponsorship for Whitby Town. More importantly the Whitby Town community got together again safely after lockdown.

As the walk started the first bit was the climb out of Robin Hoods Bay. I think everyone will agree that it was the hardest stretch. After the toughest part of the route we were nearly at Stainsacre where we planned on having a drink in the Windmill Inn. After hiking along the old railway line we arrived at the village of Stainsacre and had refreshments at the Windmill pub.

After our refreshments we then set off back down the track on the route to the Turnbull Ground. Once we completed the walk, Turnbull's Bar served us the finest drinks and a delicious buffet.

Well done to everyone who walked and earned valuable money that will keep the club afloat through these unprecedented times.
