Harry Dunn to take charge of Whitby Town legends in May

Paul Connolly28 Mar - 13:09

Whitby Town's FA Vase-winning manager Harry Dunn will take charge of the club's legends XI on May 3rd, in the charity match against Inter Legends.

Harry initially took charge of the club in 1995, leading the club through a golden era in which the club won at Wembley, reached the FA Cup First Round on three occasions and gained back-to-back promotions from the Northern League to the Northern Premier League.

He left the club in September 2004, before making a return in May 2009 for a second spell, staying at the club until his resignation in October 2010 - calling time on full-time football management.

Dunn will be assisted in the dugout by another Blues legend in former player, coach and kit man, Dennis Wheeler, who was part of his coaching staff in both spells managing the club.
