Individuals at Whitby Town, along with other clubs in the area, are currently the subject of a number of prank calls from an individual offering spurious deals for players.

Please can fellow clubs be aware that the individual is not associated with any player or football club, and is not to be taken seriously, and any business the club conducts will be done via recognised numbers of club personnel.

Graeme Hinchliffe is currently investigating this through his legal teams, who do have the power to obtain withheld numbers.
