The midfielder initially linked up with the Seasiders in November 2022, and following several month-long loan spells, has now been secured until the conclusion of the 2022/23 campaign.

On the extension to the deal, Braithwaite said: “I’ve loved my time here and I’m buzzing to have been a part of it this season.

“The lads are all class and there’s a good togetherness.

“Nath’s trusted me and believed in me which had helped me out massively with what I’m looking to achieve in my career.”
