From the West
From the A1 in North Yorkshire, follow the A64 towards Scarborough. After passing York and going along a single-carriageway road, getting stuck behind caravans and tractors, you will come to a place called Malton. This has a bypass which is dualled. Follow the dual-carriageway until you come to the A169 turn off (the first exit on this dual-carriageway). Take this road past and through Pickering until eventually, you come to (after 20 miles of moorland) the village of Sleights, at the bottom of a rather steep hill called Blue Bank. Go through Sleights, up a git massive hill, to a new roundabout meeting the A171. Turn right and then first left to Whitby (signposted B1460 Whitby/Sandsend/Saltburn). Follow this road until you come to a Spar shop/fuel station on your left and a Lidl supermarket on your right. Take the next left where the small war memorial is opposite Lidl onto Love Lane, (signposted Sandsend). Follow this road to a mini roundabout with the A174. Turn right, and follow this road for about 3/4 mile and the ground is on your left after the shops.
From the North
Find the A171 from Middlesbrough and take it all the way to the new roundabout with the A169 Pickering road. Go over this roundabout and take the next left. Follow this road until you come to a Spar shop/fuel station on your left and a Lidl supermarket on your right. Take the next left where the small War Memorial is opposite Lidl onto Love Lane (signposted Sandsend). Follow this road to a mini roundabout with the A174. Turn right, and follow the road for about 3/4 mile and the ground is on your left after the shops.
From the South
If you are unfortunate enough to have to come from Scarborough, then take the A171 towards Whitby. Follow this road to Whitby and eventually you'll go over a high-level bridge. Past the bridge, and go through the traffic lights and down Prospect Hill. At the bottom of the hill, take the second exit up Chubb Hill. At the roundabout at the top, take the second exit and follow this road for about 1 mile or so and the ground is on the right-hand side.
From the East/Bus Station/Railway station
Sail through the Piers and park your boat/hovercraft/raft/ship/jetski in the Marina. Walk through town past the Co-Op and get a taxi up to the ground. If you manage to get here by public transport, you will be in the town centre and should award yourself a medal for finding a bus or train that gets to Whitby. Get a taxi up to the ground, it'll cost about £5.
